Green Mobility
The Green Mobility Initiative, supported by the Nordic Council of Ministers (Copenhagen) and implemented by the ICSER Leontief Centre (St. Petersburg), is a unique strategic platform, aimed to develop a sustainable mobility in the cities and regions of Russia, building on the best international and Russian experience in implementing an effective transport policy and sustainable transportation systems.
The main objective is to facilitate initiatives for developing and strengthening the cycling culture and infrastructure carried out by both authorities and citizens in cities of Russia as well as to promote other citizens-friendly transport solutions such as electric and hybrid cars and public transport.
The initiative provides:
- Sustainable Mobility and Urban Environment Research
- Cities’ sustainable development plans
- Search of new solutions
